I had Rob’s photo that Merit sent on my computer screen this morning and my 6 year old daughter, Emily, looked at me and asked “Who is that beautiful man?” …… Out of the mouths of babes.
He was a great man, and a guiding light to us all.
Rob taught me that no matter what… Be prepared! and then be super prepared….
He also introduced me to the wonders of the Patisserie Valerie almond croissant on a Sunday morning early shift at Joes, the music of Joni Mitchell and Patti Smith and for all his efforts the drums, on a practice pad in behind the scenes at Metro (I am still awful at it – he said I had my own rhythm an no timing – he was being too kind!!)
An honour to have known you Rob. One of the good guys.
