I just happened to catch Heir Hunters on the TV this week and saw that Robert had passed away. I googled him tonight and found your website for him and would just like to share some memories/thoughts about Robert.

I worked with Robert at Joe’s Basement before the company folded, so am guessing around 2000. My memory of Robert is just of a really lovely intelligent bloke. He was the font of all knowledge at Joe’s. He regularly assisted the photographers who came in but more often than not ended up running the shoot.

I was really shocked to see that he had taken his own life as he seemed so interested in the life that was going on around him. I suppose this may have been no substitute for what was missing from his life although from what I remember of Robert I feel sure that he had no shortage of friends to have supported him if he was struggling. I would just like to offer my condolences to the people that loved him.
